So TLDR, my question for you all is what is a Tropico game that is A) good, B) similar to the original, C) works for Mac and D) would work on a lower end laptop. So my next thought was to get Tropico Reloaded, as that should be a much easier game to run, but that's only for Windows according to steam (and I don't think my sister is going to want to try and run a Windows emulator on her computer) For reference, her computer is just barely able to play Two Point Hospital-the game works, but it stutters a ton.
The problem, however, is that her only computer is a Macbook Air running OS 10.14.6, and she's tried downloading "Tropico" (I'm not sure which one, but I think it was 5 or 6) and found her computer couldn't get past the start screen. Now, she was obsessed with Tropico 1 back in the day, so I was thinking a Tropico game would be a good choice.
So Christmas is coming up soon, and my sister asked me to get her a game I think she'd like.
